Principal's Message
Hello Bautista Creek Families,
I want to welcome you to the 2024-25 school year. I am thrilled to have the opportunity
to continue to serve our school as the Principal at Bautista Creek. We also have two
amazing assistant principals, Mr. Sosa and Mrs. Vender that will continue to serve the
Bautista community.
I want to welcome you to the 2024-25 school year. I am thrilled to have the opportunity

I come to Bautista Creek with over 24 years of experience as an educator and
administrator. I would like to share a little about myself. I grew up in Orange County,
attending school in Huntington Beach. In 1998, I received a teaching credential and
Bachelor’s in Education and started teaching in Santa Ana, California.
I came to Bautista Creek as the Assistant Principal during the 22/23 school year and
have loved being able to serve this amazing community of learners. Bautista is a very
close-knit community and the staff and families work closely together to further the
vision of HUSD.
I am excited to share some exciting projects that have happened at Bautista over the
summer. We have had our blacktop re-surfaced and painted with special areas for
games and activities. We will continue offering weekly games and activities. We have also
had a new shade fabric installed over the pavilion to help with the heat during lunch,
and we will have a new Kinder playground installed in early September.
My educational philosophies include fostering a school culture where every student
feels connected and valued. I believe in working closely with families as a team to
facilitate open communication. I support educational equity, which means all students
receive what they need to be successful educationally. I will ensure our Special
Education students are in the Least Restrictive Environment and receive high-quality
support and instruction.
I look forward to continuing to lead Bautista Creek, as we work together to Embrace,
Educate, and Empower our students. My door is always open to you and I wholeheartedly welcome your conversation and positive input throughout this year. Please do
not hesitate to contact me with any questions, concerns, or ideas you would like to
share. I look forward to continued success for all of our Bautista Creek Bears.
Sincerely,
Michele Aguilar
Principal
