School History

Bautista Creek Elementary School was established in 1992 and was originally located on a temporary campus which is now part of the Dartmouth Middle School campus. The school later relocated to what is now Santa Fe Middle School for 1 year before moving to the permanent site in 1997. Joe Picchiotino, then principal at Little Lake Elementary School, was selected to be the first principal.

Bautista Creek School was established as a “Back to Basics” school, which set the foundation for a strong, caring, family environment. “BC Bear” was established as the school mascot. The school colors are red, white and blue.
