Hemet, January 16, 2024: The Governing Board of the Hemet Unified School District, on nomination by Trustee Ross Valenzuela, has selected Mrs. Patricia Maddox, 5th Grade Teacher at Bautista Creek Elementary School, as the January 16, 2024 recipient of the Governing Board Recognition and Award.
Mrs. Maddox is an extremely dedicated teacher. Her classroom is a friendly and engaging place where students feel valued and inspired to fulfill their dreams. Mrs. Maddox plans special events to make learning hands on, for example her Super Bowl Math event studying probability and statistics and her Book Report Oscar Party. We are thrilled to recognize and show our appreciation for her dedication to the students and community at Bautista Creek Elementary School.
For outstanding performance, professionalism and loyalty to the Hemet Unified School District, Trustee Ross Valenzuela presented Mrs. Patricia Maddox with the Governing Board Recognition of Excellence Award and a $500 certificate to be used toward the District program of her choice.
